Refunds & Returns

Table Of Contents

  1. Refunds Policy

All services provided are non-refundable. Payments made for hosting services or custom WordPress work are final. This is because the moment a service is initiated, resources are allocated, and workflow begins.
  2. Service Workflow and Client Responsibility

Upon sign-up, I will reach out within 2-3 working days to begin the onboarding process. If you delay your response, this does not entitle you to a refund or service extension. You will still be charged monthly, whether or not your website is live, as delays in providing necessary details on your part do not pause billing.
  3. Custom Development Work

For custom website builds and other bespoke services, payments are made in stages based on milestones agreed upon in the proposal. Ownership of the website or deliverables only transfers once all payments are made. Until full payment is received, all rights to the work remain with me. No refunds will be provided, even if the client decides not to continue with the project.
  4. Service Disruptions and Liability

Although I strive to provide seamless service, occasional disruptions may occur due to factors outside my control, such as AWS server outages, issues with third-party plugins, or unforeseen technical difficulties. These disruptions do not entitle the client to any refund or compensation. Additionally, clients have access to their websites, so if they install or modify anything that causes issues (e.g., faulty plugins or themes), I am not liable for any resulting downtime or performance issues.
  5. Payment Terms

All payments for hosting are due upfront, and failure to pay will result in service suspension or termination. While I may offer flexibility in certain cases, this is done solely at my discretion and does not set a precedent. Clients who do not pay promptly risk having their hosting and services disabled without notice.
  6. Dissatisfaction and Conflict Resolution

If a client is dissatisfied with any service, I will work in good faith toward a resolution, especially for custom work. However, refunds are not an option. I will attempt to resolve any disputes to the best of my ability, but the client agrees to work with me toward finding a solution before any further steps are taken.
  7. Backup and Restoration Policy

Hosting services include daily backups with a one-week retention period. If a client requires their website to be restored from a previous backup, I will perform this at their request. However, this does not qualify as a revision, and no additional changes will be made unless stated otherwise. Reverting to a backup is provided as part of the hosting package and does not entitle the client to any further compensation or service adjustments.
  8. No Warranties or Legal Compliance

I provide hosting services “as-is” and do not offer any warranties, either express or implied. While I take reasonable measures to ensure uptime and security, there are no guarantees regarding performance, legal compliance (such as GDPR), accessibility, or SEO optimization. Clients are responsible for ensuring that their website adheres to relevant legal standards, and I take no responsibility for issues arising from non-compliance.
  9. Custom Work Contracts and Revisions

Custom projects will have their own specific terms and conditions, which may differ from the general hosting terms. These contracts will outline the scope of work, revision policies, timelines, and any additional clauses necessary to complete the project. Revisions for custom projects are typically limited, and any changes outside the agreed scope will incur additional fees.
  10. No Refunds for Service Interruptions

As previously stated, no refunds will be provided for temporary downtime or service interruptions. AWS, plugin failures, or even client-side errors may result in temporary disruptions, but these do not warrant a refund. It is the client’s responsibility to notify me of any issues they encounter, and I will assist where possible, but compensation will not be provided for downtime.
  11. Pre-paid Services

All hosting services are pre-paid on a monthly basis, and no partial refunds will be issued for unused services. Clients who wish to cancel must do so before their next billing cycle begins. Any services provided (including migration, SSL setup, and plugin management) are considered delivered once payment is made, and clients agree to the terms upon making the payment.
  12. Revisions and Backups

Clients understand that hosting services come with limited revisions. Daily backups are included as part of the hosting package, with retention lasting up to one week. If a client needs a backup restored, this can be requested within this timeframe. However, no further changes or revisions are included unless otherwise stated in the custom work agreement.
  13. Legal Responsibility of Content

While I may assist in building or hosting your website, clients are fully responsible for the content published. I do not monitor or take responsibility for ensuring that content meets legal standards or requirements. Clients must ensure compliance with copyright, data protection laws, and any other relevant legal obligations. I will not be held liable for any legal issues arising from the client’s content.
  14. Client Agreement and Liability Waiver

Clients agree to these terms upon payment and initiation of services. No changes to these terms will be made unless expressly stated in a signed agreement between both parties. In the event of legal disputes, clients agree to resolve these through mediation before pursuing other legal channels.
